What will we see?
We will kayak up the Colorado River from Willow Beach past the fish hatchery and stop at the Historic Gaugers Station. There we will go on a short five-ten minute hike to a beautiful overlook of the ORIGINAL site plan for the Hoover Dam. We will stop at Emerald Cove or Emerald Cave, or both if you’d like. We stop at multiple coves and upon request can take you to the second cave just past the Gaugers Shack.
Where do we meet?
For all tours we meet at Willow Beach Marina, right on the concrete boat launch next to the green recycling bins. Just look for our friendly guides and kayaks!

What’s the best time of day to go?
Our afternoon trip is timed to get the best lighting inside the Emerald Cave – that’s when it really glows. The morning trip is still an amazing experience, with emerald-colored waters, scenic overlooks, hidden coves, cool caves, and some short hikes. The water stays a crisp 50–60 degrees year-round, but dipping in and out is all part of the fun—and most guests still feel great in the afternoon, as long as they don’t mind a bit of cold water!
What makes us different?
Our guides go above and beyond—capturing up to 150 photos per trip—so you don’t have to. That means you can stay present, soak in every moment, and truly enjoy the experience without worrying about taking the perfect shot. We’ll handle the memories—so you can live them. Not every guide does this. Please make sure to request, as this is not a guaranteed part of our service. Our reviews speak for themselves. If you look at our Instagram page we’re also happy to tag and post about each trip if requested.
What’s the best kayak for me?
We bring a wide assortment of kayaks to every trip, ranging from faster, more streamlined models to wider, more stable ones ideal for beginners. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has a kayak that suits their comfort level and paddling ability, so we always have the right option for you.
Any other fees I should know about?
Please be advised: Willow Beach is part of the National Parks system and there is a $25 entry fee per vehicle if you do not already have an America the Beautiful National Parks Pass. Typically, the pay booth does not open until after 7am.
Are kids allowed? What is the minimum age?
Yes, kids are allowed on our kayaking tours. Minimum age allowed will be on a case by case basis. Please call for more information. Our guides are great at motivating the kids to paddle with different techniques in getting as much power as possible.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included for your kayaking guide. If you believe your guide did an amazing job, this is typically a tipping position.
Anything else we need to do?
