Terms and Conditions for Kayaking Adventure Purchase
By purchasing this kayaking adventure, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they govern your participation in the activity.
General Requirements
Participant Responsibility: All participants must be physically able to undertake the activity and follow the instructions of the guide.
Age Restrictions: Participants must be 18 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and able to swim. Please call for questions on this.
Health & Safety: Guests with medical conditions that may affect their participation (e.g., heart conditions, pregnancy, or injuries) must consult their physician before booking.
Life Jackets: Life jackets must be worn at all times during the activity.
Booking and Payment
Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment. A confirmation email will be sent with event details, waiver links, and meeting instructions.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made one day before (24 Hours) to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 Hours of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
Weather and Safety Cancellations: The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or modify the trip due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or may reschedule.

The maximum guarantee refund is $199 per guest.
Small-print protection: Available only on direct AdventureChild.com bookings for the Heavy Flow Hoover Dam Kayak Tour. Guests must complete the tour and follow guide instructions. Normal weather, water conditions, group pace, and reasonable route or paddling-distance adjustments made for safety or operations do not, by themselves, qualify for a refund. Late arrivals, no-shows, voluntary early departures, intoxication, and safety removals are excluded. If Adventure Child cancels, guests may choose a full refund or reschedule.
Waiver and Liability
Waiver Requirement: All participants must complete the General Liability Waiver before the activity. The waiver can be found below:

No waiver, no participation.
Risks and Assumption of Liability: Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with kayaking, including but not limited to drowning, weather changes, or equipment failure. By signing the waiver, participants accept these risks and release the operator from liability.
Arrival and Check-in
Timeliness: Guests must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals may not be accommodated, and refunds will not be issued.
Scheduled Meeting Time: Guests do not need to arrive early, but they must be ready at the designated meeting point at the scheduled meeting time. On non-private/shared tours, guests who arrive more than 5–10 minutes late may be left behind because the guide may need to depart without them to protect the trip for the other guests. Private-tour guests may arrive up to 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After those windows, accommodation is not guaranteed, and the late-arrival/no-refund policy applies.
No Cell Service:
Please note there is no cell service at Willow Beach, and all forms and confirmations must be completed in advance.
Wi-Fi Access:
If guests have not completed the waiver prior to arrival, they will need to purchase Wi-Fi access at the marina to do so.
Prohibited Items and Behavior:
Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol or illegal substances are strictly prohibited during the activity. Guests under the influence will be denied participation without a refund.
Respect for Nature:
Pack in what you pack out. Participants must adhere to Leave No Trace principles to protect the environment. Littering and disturbance of wildlife are prohibited.
Code of Conduct:
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other participants, staff, and wildlife. The operator reserves the right to remove disruptive participants without a refund.
Force Majeure:
The operator is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, government actions, or acts of the Universe.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Nevada/Arizona and Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Any disputes arising from participation in the activity will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Nevada rules.
